Aisling B a was born on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI along as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea, who began appearing as bit roles on Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began appearing on a variety of sketch and sitcoms. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. In 2016 through 2017, she served as the team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. The only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea, her maiden name, was a tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who committed suicide when Bea turned three, was a victim of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after the age of thirteen. Her stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey dealing with suicide. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. The family was obsessed with racing as well as horses. Bea was a trainer for the Irish National Stud in her beginning teens. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to pursue in a career and she preferred doing.
